Rain, Monkeys, and Succulents

This rain is making everyone cranky.  I decided to upload photos from this weekend’s succulent terrarium making workshop I taught.  It was sunny and warm that day!  No rain in sight.  I even wore a dress.  I think I wear a dress about 1% of the time.  It was a day of celebration.  Plants, new friends, and cookies.  All good things.  Diane was awesome enough to host us at her apt right near the big rainbow flag in the Castro.  A very iconic Skillshare class indeed.

Class pictures are for adults too

My mom finally finished her sock monkey.  It is, of course, one of the prettiest ones.  She is super crafty even though she pretends like she’s not.  She’s the secret artist.

My mom's really colorful monkey.

Succulent terrarium masters recap!

Last night 14 terrarium makers embarked on an incredible Skillshare journey at the Hub SOMA!  They made terrariums with rocks, soil, creatures, and succulent plants.  Everyone’s terrarium was unique and beautiful.  I was super impressed with my first class of students and I hope to teach it again!  I might also be teaching a living wall class soon, too!
